SUNGWOOK KIM
TENOR
SungWook Kim (Tenor), a native of South Korea, recently performed the role of Edoardo in Rossini's comedy, La Cambiale Matrimonio. A resident artist with Bare Opera, he has also performed leading roles in their productions of Goyescas and L'Enfant Prodigue in New York City. He has participated as a young artist at the Caramoor Festival for two seasons as well as the Seoul Metropolitan Opera. SungWook holds a professional studies diploma from Mannes College at the New School for Music and holds a graduate certificate from the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California, as well as bachelor's degree in vocal arts and a master's degree from Seoul National University.

YOUNG KWANG YOO
BARITONE
Baritone Young-Kwang Yoo was born in South Korea, where he graduated and received his bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University. He won 1st prize in the Osaka International Music Competition in Japan and 2nd place in the Manhattan International Music Competition.. Previous credits include Rigoletto (Rigoletto) with Seoul National University, La Bohème (Marcello), Lakmé (Frederic) and Luisa Miller(Miller) with Manhattan School of Music, The Telephone(Ben) with Te Art Ro Production, Emmeline(Mr. Maguire), Le Nozze di Figaro(Il Conte), The War Reporter(Paul Watson) and Pelléas et Mélisande(Pelléas) with Opera institute. He did Don Pasquale(Malatesta) and Madama Butterfly(Sharpless) with world renowned Martina Arroyo Foundation and the Cleveland Opera Theater. Also, with the Cleveland Opera Theater, he performed Il Barbiere di Siviglia(Figaro). In this season, he will perform La tragedie de Carmen (Escamillo) with City Lyric Opera New York.
Young Kwang received his Master of music degree from the Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Mark Oswald. Mr. Yoo also holds with Certificate from the Opera Institute at Boston University.

DAEWON SEO
BASS-BARITONE
Baritone Daewon Seo is Native of South Korea. He has performed many roles throughout his career including Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos by Strauss with Miami Music Festival, Il conte in Le Nozze di Figaro with Oberlin Opera Theater and Figaro in Mozart’s Le Nozze di FigaroVater in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel with the Butler Opera Center, and the title role in Don Giovanni with the Seoul National University Opera Theater. An experienced concert artist, he has been a featured soloist in performances of Orff’s Carmina Burana, Handel’s Messiah and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. He won the S.Livingston Mather Competition, The Lois Alba Aria Competition and William C. Byrd Young Artist Competition and earned first prize at the Korean Art Song Competition, and Third prize at the Ewha-Kyunghyang Competition, also in Korea. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University, a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and Artistic diploma from Oberlin Conservatory.

HANNA CHUNG
COLLABORATIVE PIANIST
Hanna Chung received her bachelor degree in solo piano performance at McGill University in 2008.
Also, she has earned her Masters degree in collaborative piano program at Mannes College of music in 2014.
She has many experience in performing with instrumentalists,singers and choirs.
She now serves as a collaborative pianist at The New Covenant Reformed Church in Oradell.
