Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Camerata Youth Orchestra. Our auditions are open to musicians of all races and cultures. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to prevent the spread of the virus and protect all of us, all auditions will be held online, via Zoom.

Audition Fee & Tuition
There is a non-refundable audition fee of $30. In addition to the audition fee, there are other fees and tuition.
New member auditions will be held May 24-27 & August 23-26 online via Zoom. Upon completing the online application, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom ID and Passcode.
What to Expect at Your Audition
Auditions are 10-15 minutes long, and are heard by the Music Director. Please test your Zoom sound settings prior to your audition.
During your audition you will be asked to perform a solo piece of your choice, scales and sight reading. Click here for details.
Regular rehearsals will take place in accordance with physical distance guidelines. ‘New-Normal’ Rehearsals will take place in person, in small groups. September rehearsals might be held online. Subsequent rehearsals will be held at the NV Factory, located at 400 Sylvan Ave. STE 100, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632. The first rehearsal of the CYO is scheduled for Friday, September 10, 2021.
